Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Manufacturing Operations team across Lewiston, ID; Pullman, WA; or West Lafayette, IN. You will identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, enhancing safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will work with production and other teams to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and use data-driven methods to drive reliable performance.

Qualifications

• You have a B.S. in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• You have two years' experience in process development in a related world class manufacturing company.
• You can lead a cross functional team.
• You can influence others and reach consensus.
• You have project management experience.
• You have knowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurements.
• You have effective writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• You can work cooperatively in a team environment.
• You have background check results satisfactory to SEL.
• You have negative drug test result(s).

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for someone to join our Manufacturing Operations team as a Process Engineer in one of three locations: Lewiston, ID; Pullman, WA; or West Lafayette, IN.

As a Process Engineer, you will identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, helping to increase efficiency, quality, and safety across operations. You will work closely with production and other teams to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and support day-to-day manufacturing activities. You will also use data and continuous improvement principles to help drive better performance and reliable results.

A typical day as a Process Engineer might include:

• Providing engineering support in multiple areas of manufacturing.
• Specifying, developing, justifying, implementing, and sustaining assembly equipment and materials.

Pay Range: $89,400 - $134,100 annually. We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Process Engineer level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
