Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the maintenance of all MEP systems across the property. You will implement preventive maintenance, oversee guest areas and public spaces, and coordinate capital projects with external contractors.

The role requires strong leadership, safety program expertise, and the ability to manage budgets and multiple tasks in a high-pressure hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in maintenance or engineering.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience.
• Swing Shift availability (3 PM shifts and 2 overnights per week).
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, local fire codes and mechanical codes.
• Fluency in job-related English, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Ability to prepare budgets, supervise staff, and enforce standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Engineering department operations and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs across hotel facilities.
• Oversee guest rooms and public areas maintenance using PM programs.
• Coordinate outside contracts and capital MEP improvement projects.
• Ensure safety procedures, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts, supplies, and tools; conduct staff training.
