CoralTree Hospitality Group seeks a seasoned Engineering Supervisor for Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale to oversee MEP systems and preventive maintenance across the property. You will lead safety programs, coordinate capital improvement projects, and manage outside contractors while directing a skilled team.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment within a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualificações

• Essential: Swing shift (3 PM + 2 overnight shifts weekly).
• Essential: 3–5 years in maintenance or engineering.
• Essential: 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Essential: working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, fire codes, blueprints, meters.
• Desired: building trade license/cert certificate in Florida.
• Desirable: second language (Spanish).

Responsabilidades

• Assist Chief Engineer, supervise Engineering dept activities for HVAC, refrigeration, pools, plumbing, electrical, life safety, and mechanical systems.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
• Manage guest rooms and public areas using PM programs; conserve energy.
• Respond to guest and resident needs; resolve complaints; maintain guest relations.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct training for new hires and ongoing staff development.
• Enforce safety regulations and investigate accidents.
• Inspect and maintain building and life-safety systems to minimize downtime.
• Support emergency procedures and assist in hotel emergencies.
• Oversee purchasing and value relationships of parts and tools.
• Lead staff with delegation and ensure safe work conditions.
• Assist staff as needed and take on additional responsibilities as required.
