Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort is seeking a seasoned Shift Engineer to join the facility maintenance team. You will maintain the physical integrity, safety, and presentation standards across the luxury resort, marina, and supporting facilities on a scheduled shift basis.

Responsibilities include monitoring central plant systems, routine PMs, and quick resolution of guest room and public space maintenance requests to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and basic carpentry skills.
• Strong problem solving and hands-on maintenance capability.
• Experience in luxury hotel or resort engineering preferred.
• Certifications such as EPA Universal or CPO are a plus.
• Driving license may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on MEP systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for major repairs or improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes.
