Job summary

Pike Engineering seeks an engineer to provide technical guidance under supervision, handling complex problems and developing advanced skills for growing independence. The candidate should have an ABET/EAC accredited degree (or NCEES evaluation), 2–4 years of engineering practice, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET/EAC accredited Engineering Program or equivalent evaluation by NCEES.
2 to 4 years’ experience as a practicing engineer.
Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles.
Ability to research engineering/design issues, evaluate alternatives, and present recommendations.
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering/technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.
Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
Produce thorough technical reports, correspondence, calculations, and sketches.
Pursue continuous improvement in engineering knowledge and performance.
Maintain accurate records and files.
Represent the company positively and professionally.
