Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience in building maintenance or engineering.
• Substantial experience with boilers, HVAC systems, and maintenance.
• Q01 Refrigeration Engineer certification required upon hire.
• NYCFD Certificates of Fitness G35, F36, S95, G17, S12-S14 required (within 45 days if not present).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and maintenance staff.
• Distribute work orders and ensure completion.
• Monitor office computerized systems and building equipment.
• Oversee HVAC, boilers, A/C units, and alarms.
• Service and monitor fire alarm systems and medical gases.
• Supervise high and low pressure boiler maintenance and repairs.
• Operate and maintain emergency generators and Co-Gen.
• Provide training to trades staff.
• Oversee construction and painting projects.
• Maintain records of conditions and reports from facilities.
