Job summary

Williams Companies is seeking an Engineering Supervisor in Houston to lead a diverse team of engineers and specialists in support of pipeline operations. You will guide planning, commissioning, and startup activities, influence decision-making for reliability, and serve as the technical authority on automation scope across projects.

You will supervise third-party partners, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in operations, design, and project execution

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or engineering technology degree with PE license and 8+ years of multifaceted engineering experience in natural gas, petrochemical, or related industries
• PE license required with minimum 6+ years of engineering experience
• Experience leading diverse engineering teams and coordinating across projects and regions

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and technical specialists to support operations and improve reliability and operability
• Coordinate automation resources across projects and geographic regions
• Supervise third-party project managers, consultants, and inspectors
• Plan, commission, and start up new and modified facilities
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, optimization, and turnarounds
• Drive safety-focused budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling and mentor team members
