Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. in Houston is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Senior/Staff) for Power Innovation to lead the design and optimization of electrical systems for pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.

You will guide power distribution, automation, and energy storage projects to improve reliability and integrate new technologies. You will mentor engineers, influence standards, manage projects from concept through execution, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
12–15 years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry (Staff).
Master’s degree and PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks.
Drive Power Innovation initiatives, including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage.
Ensure safety practices including arc flash mitigation and protection schemes.
Manage projects from concept to execution, aligning with scope and schedules.
Mentor engineers and influence engineering standards and technical strategy.
