Job summary

Williams is seeking a Senior/Staff Project Engineer in Houston to lead complex power and automation projects for critical infrastructure. You will evaluate, design, implement, and optimize facilities, driving reliability and efficiency while mentoring technical staff.

The role requires strong technical judgment, collaboration, and the ability to influence long-term engineering strategy in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial infrastructure, power systems, and automation environments.
• Experience supporting maintenance programs, outage coordination, and operational systems.
• Familiarity with design reviews and MOC processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering work across power, automation, and facility systems.
• Support evaluation, design, construction, and optimization of facilities and systems.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards with safety and compliance in mind.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams on projects.
