Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and design departments, including application engineers, electrical and mechanical designers, and project management. The role ensures strong pre- and post-sales support and maintains documentation and procedures to support other departments.

You will mentor teams, design and refine processes for quoting and project delivery, coordinate with sales for solution development, manage staff responsibilities, and drive

Qualifications

• 6-7 years’ experience in the automation field across various technologies.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office.
• Highly technical mindset.
• Degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering fields.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve with critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Manage application engineers, designers, and project management for new projects.
• Mentor and coordinate training to develop engineers' technical understanding of products.
• Design, implement, and refine processes for accurate quoting, documentation, and designs.
• Coordinate pre-sales support with the sales team and post-sales project completion.
• Manage staff tasks, training, and resource needs across projects.
• Lead technical onboarding for engineers, designers, and sales staff.
• Develop and build demo systems with engineers and designers as needed by sales.
• Support larger engineering and prototyping projects with the Project Manager.
• Allocate resources across projects and ensure on-track delivery.
• Foster an employee-focused, solution-oriented culture and participate in strategy meetings.
