Job summary

BD is seeking new engineering graduates to join its Engineering Development Program (EDP). The program rotates you through three BD businesses in the US over three years, working with R&D to design, develop, and manufacture medical devices.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and possibly relocate annually during the program. After rotations, EDP participants move into a full-time BD R&D role based on interests and business needs.

Qualifications

• New engineering graduates with a BS or MS in Mechanical, Biomedical (Bioengineering), Materials, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline.
• Graduation date between Aug 2026 and Jun 2027.
• Strong academic record and relevant internship or co-op experience.
• Ability to relocate annually during the three-year program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain medical technology and devices.
• Design, develop, and test devices while following regulations and quality processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and participate in design reviews.
• Provide regular status updates on projects and follow through on deliverables.
