Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids is seeking an onsite hardware support specialist for Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP). You will manage procurement and kitting, track project tasks, coordinate documentation and software revisions, and support peer reviews with engineers and cross‑functional teams to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires a HS Diploma or AA/AS with at least 4 years of relevant experience, the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Experience with customer support and service

Responsibilities

• Track assets including management of engineering supplies
• Serve as access focal for engineering teams
• Lead peer reviews in PREP
• Track CDRL deliveries to customers
• Order hardware and kit parts
• Track lead status through procurement
• Support weekly hardware status meetings
• JIRA: Support Risk & Opportunity reviews and lead weekly CCB meetings
• Facilitate document releases in SCL
• Create delivery documents and coordinate with shipping department to ensure successful delivery of product
• Work with Customer Owner Property for inductions and consumption of material including ordering and tracking
• Hand carry material between sites as needed
