Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Senior Engineering Manager for Systems Engineering. You will lead and mentor a team across requirements analysis, design, integration, verification, and configuration management, with Agile practices.

Responsibilities include developing tools, supporting field demonstrations, and direct customer support onsite. The role requires a DoD security clearance, US citizenship, and domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
• Ability to travel domestically as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor staff across all phases of the systems engineering life cycle
• Develop systems tools and support field demonstration and integration efforts
• Provide customer support and perform performance management and coaching
