The role leads engineering efforts to deliver mission-critical capabilities to the warfighter, collaborating with systems, hardware, software, and firmware teams.

The position emphasizes managing project plans, budgets, schedules, andRisk/EVM analysis, with onsite work in Cedar Rapids and a requirement for active SECRET clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10+ years of experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams, leadership and customers.
• Experience in avionics systems development, verification/validation, and interfaces; EV, CAM experience.
• Experience as Project Management, CAM, and earned value.
• Experience in technical risk & opportunity management; bid/proposals for defense TINA bids.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technology and engineering focal point for leadership and the customer on various programs.
• Guide engineering development in accordance with management systems, engineering process, requirements, budget, and schedule.
• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets for small to mid-size projects.
