Qualifications

• Ability to develop and review project plans, cost estimates, specs, schedules, and contract docs.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office and PM software (MS Project).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage engineering and construction projects from initial planning through project closeout.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and resource requirements to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, military personnel, and regulatory agencies to support project planning, design, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks, resolving issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Review and evaluate engineering designs, specifications, technical proposals, and contractor submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify project status, construction quality, safety compliance, and adherence to contract requirements.
• Prepare project reports, briefings, and recommendations for leadership regarding project status, funding requirements, risks, and project priorities.
• Support long-range facility and infrastructure planning efforts by identifying project needs, evaluating alternatives, and recommending capital improvement initiatives.

Program Summary

The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) sustains the Army’s mission to develop, acquire, field, and sustain ground combat, tactical, and support systems throughout their lifecycle. The program focuses on ensuring operational readiness, reliability, and safety of automotive and ground support equipment critical to Army operations.

Under this contract, personnel provide maintenance, repair, overhaul, and sustainment support in accordance with Army technical manuals, safety standards, and performance requirements.

Job Summary

The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing engineering, construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects at a military installation. This position manages projects from concept through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements are achieved. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Experience managing engineering, construction, facilities, or infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
• Knowledge of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to develop and review project plans, cost estimates, technical specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
• Knowledge of engineering, construction, and facility-related codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required)
• U.S. citizenship required

The salary range for this position is $134,800 - $202,200. Compensation offered will depend on qualifications, experience, work location, and business considerations. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. Additional compensation and benefits may be available based on role eligibility.
