Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth is seeking an F-22 Engineering Project Manager to drive the development, integration, and sustainment of the Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS).

You will collaborate with E&T functional competency centers to achieve weapon system performance, airworthiness requirements, and deliver mission‑critical capabilities that keep our aircraft and platforms mission‑ready.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related STEM field.
  • 9+ years of engineering and/or project management experience on aerospace/defense programs.
  • Ability to communicate status and challenges to multi-disciplined teams and customers.
  • Willing to travel up to 10%.
  • Final SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new business opportunities including BOEs, SOWs, and IMS input requirements.
  • Track milestones, manage cost and schedule, and facilitate issue-resolution sessions.
  • Leverage standard processes and best practices with engineering leadership.
  • Develop and report metrics on engineering, cost, and schedule performance.
  • Provide staffing projections and support intra‑program resource arbitration.
  • Plan and coordinate customer reviews related to IMIS.
  • Identify and manage technical and execution risks and opportunities.

As an F-22 Engineering Project Manager (EPM), you will drive the development, integration, and sustainment of the Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS). You’ll collaborate with E&T functional competency centers to achieve weapon system performance, airworthiness requirements, and deliver mission‑critical capabilities that keep our aircraft and platforms mission‑ready.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Lead new business opportunities to include, but not limited to, establishing Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Statements of Work, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) input requirements definition, and integration of supplier technical engineering activities.
  • Track progress against milestones while managing overall cost and schedule performance and facilitating regular meetings, status reports, and issue‑resolution sessions to mitigate risks and delays.
  • In concert with Chief Engineering, leverage proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices while ensuring organizational standard processes are adapted, approved, and followed.
  • Develop and report metrics relative to overall engineering technical, cost and schedule performance
  • Provide timely and accurate projections of engineering resource requirements, work closely with functional leaders to secure appropriate staffing, and support intra-program arbitration of E&T resources
  • Plan and coordinate customer reviews related to all aspects of IMIS.
  • Identify and manage technical and execution risks and opportunities across the program
  • Manage supplier technical development and engineering integration activities

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, or a related STEM field
  • 9+ years of engineering and/or project management experience on aerospace or defense programs
  • Experience effectively communicating status and challenges to multi-disciplined engineering teams and external customers
  • Willing to travel up to 10%
  • Final SECRET security clearance

  • Strong technical acumen in systems engineering and software integration
  • Experience with DevOps environments and software build, test, and deployment pipelines
  • Experience with F-22 engineering and sustainment teams
  • Experience with EVMS and CAM tools & processes

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00
