Job summary

PwC is seeking a Program Manager in our Scaled Engineering Services to lead software engineering projects, drive end-to-end execution, and coordinate cross-functional teams across advisory and technology consulting practices.

You will mentor engineers, manage engagements, and apply modern development practices to deliver enterprise-grade IT systems. The role emphasizes integrity, leadership development, and innovation within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; three years of specialized training may substitute for missing college years.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in engineering program management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering projects within the Software and Product Innovation group, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery.
• Oversee software project planning activities, develop project plans, and manage the full project lifecycle.
• Guide teams through complex technical challenges while ensuring alignment with client needs and managed services objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features, analyze business processes, and identify technology-enabled improvements.
• Oversee the development and integration of enterprise applications using Appian, Mendix, and OutSystems.
• Demonstrate experience with Java, Python, SQL, .NET and C# to develop scalable software solutions.
• Apply ATDD, CI/CD, and development frameworks to enhance quality, speed, and functionality.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Coach and mentor junior staff to strengthen team capabilities and promote adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies.
• Support engagement team management by driving continuous improvement in software development practices.
• Understand and leverage Knowledge in AI and emerging technologies
