Job summary

Inframark is seeking an Engineering Program Manager-Technical Lead to act as the primary technical face for water and wastewater projects, owning the viability and accuracy of the technical solution and leading the project delivery team to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

You will drive QA/QC, manage risk with the project manager, engage customers on technical issues, and pursue opportunities to expand Inframark's offerings while leveraging your leadership and automation expertise.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering or electrical degree required.
• 10+ years in automation and field service; 5+ years in municipal Water & Wastewater.
• Proven leadership and progressive project management experience; strong communication and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers with project reviews and communicate health, risks, challenges, and opportunities.
• Provide guidance to project managers for developing project and resource schedules.
• Engage customers to clarify, resolve, or dispute technical issues or needs.
• Lead technical decisions, review documentation, and ensure alignment with scope.
• Lead conversations with customers to ensure solutions meet requirements and explore new offerings.
• Oversee accurate, quality, and timely execution of technical solutions on assigned projects.
• Monitor and manage project risks with the project manager and use proper risk planning.
• Collaborate with field resources to be an effective project leader.
• Coordinate startup activities with Contractors and project teams; troubleshoot and meet commitments.
• Evaluate technical issues and find acceptable solutions in the best interests of the company.
• Support QA/QC during key project phases and oversee FAT, SAT testing.
• Assist Sales and Estimating with data gathering and site visits.
• Serve as technical liaison with vendors and subcontractors; review specs and monitor deliverables.
