Job summary

Star-Island-Management-Corp is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee the resort's engineering operations and support the leadership in managing the department and vendor activities. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and collaboration with technicians to maintain high standards across facilities.

The candidate will participate in budgeting and monthly P&L review, foster ethical practices, and build strong contractor relationships to drive capital projects and maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with maintenance trades.
• HVAC certificate or license (if applicable).
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the engineering department and vendor operations.
• Provide supervision and direction to Engineering Technicians for daily tasks.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure OSHA and safety regulations are followed.
• Ensure compliance with internal, quality, and audit standards.
• Assist director of engineering with budgeting and P&L reporting.
• Develop relationships with vendors and contractors for projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost control.
