Job summary

RiseMe is hiring an Assistant Director of Engineering to lead resort engineering teams including Resort Maintenance, Field Maintenance, and Painting/Installation crews. The role supports daily operations, ensures quick guest service responses, and reports to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 4 years of direct institutional maintenance experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, etc.
• Experience with facility management including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage day-to-day workload of direct reports focusing on guest service and maintenance projects.
• Maintain department ledger, track expenses, coordinate billing, setup services.
• Oversee safety and compliance with OSHA/MIOSHA and health department standards.
• Lead by example, communicate with supervisors, and attend weekly engineering meetings.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage purchase orders.
