Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to lead the building systems and maintenance programs for a high-end property. This exempt, salaried role requires oversight of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety, with a strong focus on cost control and reliability.

You will manage budgets, service contracts, and a team of engineers, drive preventative maintenance and long-term asset protection while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years’ related experience and HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing training.
• 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related field with 4 years’ related experience and HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Engineering operations and budget performance with leadership to address concerns.
• Manages physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and water treatment per SOPs.
• Administers service contracts to support property needs and ensures code compliance.
• Coaches engineering leadership to control controllable expenses and optimize energy usage.
• Develops and manages engineering strategy and capital expenditure programs.
• Reviews financial reports to assess budget performance and informs owners of risks.
• Oversees long-term preventative maintenance and 10-year asset protection plans.
