Job summary

Dow is seeking undergraduate and graduate Engineering students for Internship/Alternating Term Co-op opportunities in Operations to start a work assignment during Spring, Summer, or Fall term.

Most positions are in Louisiana, Michigan and Texas; relocation may be required. Students will work to support safe, reliable plant operations and participate in process optimization, maintenance, and technology implementation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Relocation willingness to relocate within the U.S. beyond specified preferences.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; ABET accredited program enrollment.
• Active participation and leadership in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations.
• Previous internship/co‑op experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to plant operating personnel to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Assist in maintenance, process improvements, and project execution.
• Support process troubleshooting, yield optimization, and safety enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines.
