Job summary

Dow is seeking undergraduate and graduate students for Internship and Alternating Term Co-op opportunities in Operations (Manufacturing & Engineering). Programs run for 12–14 weeks with several track options, including spring, summer, or fall terms, and may require relocation across the U.S.

Relocation and TWIC eligibility may apply. Roles span chemical, mechanical, electrical, civil, and materials engineering with tasks in process control, maintenance, optimization and technology

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.
• Relocation within the U.S. to Dow locations may be required.
• ABET accreditation and campus leadership experience are pluses.
• Previous internship/co-op experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply sound technical judgment to enable safe and efficient plant operations.
• Work on process operation, optimization, maintenance and technology implementation.
• Contribute to safety, environmental performance and reliability improvements.
• Assist with project management, cost optimization and new technology deployment.
• Collaborate with teams across Dow to solve real-world problems.
