Job summary

EY is seeking an Engineering Administrator to act as the operational backbone for an engineering organization. The role focuses on removing friction by managing licenses, tooling, vendors, and day-to-day administrative tasks to keep teams productive and compliant.

This dedicated role sits outside engineering but is pivotal to smooth operations, ensuring assets, accounts and documentation stay up-to-date and auditable across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3+ years in administrative, operations, procurement or coordination roles.
• Experience with renewals, procurement, budgets or vendor coordination.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• Track multiple workstreams with high accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Professional and approachable communication with stakeholders.
• Self-starter who operates with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own software license lifecycle, renewals, reallocations and retirements.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships and contracts.
• Handle procurement requests, approvals, invoices, and deliveries.
• Monitor tooling and licensing budgets and report variances.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, accounts, and access provisioning.
• Maintain hardware and asset inventory with accurate records.
• Administer access requests and keep shared records current.
• Keep team documentation, drives and SOPs organized.
• Support compliance and audit readiness with accurate records.
• Serve as central point of coordination for administrative requests.
