Job summary

EY is seeking an Engineering Administrator to streamline the operational backbone for a fast-moving engineering team. This dedicated role focuses on licenses, procurement, budgeting, onboarding, and asset management, ensuring the engineers can work without interruption.

The successful candidate will coordinate across procurement, finance, IT and HR, maintain meticulous records, and support audit readiness while contributing to a hybrid, client-focused environment at EY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 3+ years in an administrative, operations, procurement, or coordination role.
• Experience managing recurring processes such as renewals, procurement, budgets, or vendor coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint) or equivalent.
• Ability to track multiple workstreams and meet deadlines with high accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the software license lifecycle including procurement, renewals, tracking, and reallocations.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships: quotes, contracts, renewals, and points of contact for tooling/services.
• Handle procurement and purchasing: raise requests, track approvals, reconcile invoices.
• Track and support the team’s operational budget and spend against tooling budgets.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding logistics: accounts, hardware, access requests, provisioning.
• Maintain hardware and asset inventory, keep records of equipment.
• Administer access and account requests across systems and tools.
• Keep team documentation organized: trackers, drives, SOPs, reference materials.
• Support compliance and audit readiness: licensing, procurement, asset records, reporting.
• Serve as central point of coordination and resolve operational issues.
