GE Appliances, a Haier company, is inviting engineering students to join the Fall 2027 Co-op program in Lafayette, GA. The role supports ovens/ranges with assignments across shop operations, process engineering, and global supply chain disciplines.

The Fall 2027 rotation runs Aug 16, 2027–Dec 10, 2027, with housing/relocation assistance for eligible students. Essential duties include setting rotation goals, leading cross-functional teams, and developing process improvements, while demonstrating

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• May 2028 or later graduation date.
• GPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Willing to explore all sides of Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Materials, TPM, Lean, Distribution, Fulfillment, Consumer Operations, Advanced Manufacturing).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Set goals and objectives for your co-op rotation with your assignment leader.
• Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing.
• Identify and develop process improvements.
• Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas.
• Develop and demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently.
• Schedule regular feedback sessions with your assignment leader.
• Travel 0%–10% depending on role.
• Some overtime and Saturdays may be required depending on role.
• First shift times vary (5:30 AM–8:00 AM).
• Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.
