Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking highly motivated engineering students for its Spring 2027 Engineering/Manufacturing Co‑op at the Lafayette, GA site. You will rotate across shop operations, process engineering, and global supply chain disciplines, gaining hands‑on experience while working with assignment leaders to deliver projects and drive improvements.

The program runs January 11, 2027 – May 7, 2027, with housing and relocation assistance available for eligible students, and

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or better in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering (or related degrees) or Supply Chain Management, Operations Management (or related degrees)

Responsibilities

Set goals & objectives for your co‑op rotation with your assignment leader
Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing
Use initiative to find and develop process improvements
Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas
Develop and demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving
Demonstrate the ability to work independently
Travel required: 0% - 10% (depending on role)
Hours & weekends: Some overtime and Saturdays may be required depending on role
Start and end times vary depending on department and role you are assigned. All roles are on 1st (day shift may begin anytime between 5:30 AM - 8:00 AM)
Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required
