Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites engineering students to join the Fall 2027 Supply Chain/Manufacturing Co‑op at Lafayette, GA. The program runs August 16, 2027 – December 10, 2027 and includes housing/relocation support for eligible students.

Assignments span shop operations, process engineering, global supply chain, quality, sourcing, and more. Co‑ops work in teams, complete projects, and may pursue leadership tracks post-graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or better in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering (or related degrees) or Supply Chain Management, Operations Management (or related degrees)
• May 2028 or later graduation date
• Cumulative GPA ≥3.0 (out of 4.0)
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Set goals & objectives for your co‑op rotation with your assignment leader
• Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing
• Use initiative to find and develop process improvements
• Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas
• Develop and demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently
• Travel required: 0% - 10% (depending on role)
• Hours & Weekends: Some overtime & Saturdays may be required depending on role
