Job summary

Parker Hannifin, a global engineering leader, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Wheel and Brake engineering team within the Parker Aerospace Braking Systems Division. You will coordinate with Business Development, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Purchasing and design engineering groups, and report to the Division Manager for Wheel, Brake and Carbon.

Responsibilities include managing a team through R&T, B&P, NPI and sustaining activities; setting goals; budget and personnel decisions;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years engineering experience, aerospace or automotive preferred.
• 3+ years engineering management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned team of engineers through all phases of wheel and brake product life cycle (R&T, B&P, NPI, Sustaining).
• Set goals and allocate department resources to meet project schedules and objectives.
• Oversee department administration (performance reviews, hiring, training, budgeting).
• Review and approve engineering deliverables for accuracy (specs, reports, investigations, analyses).
• Establish and maintain procedures compliant with BSD QMS (AS9100).
• Prioritize daily department activities to ensure objectives are met.
• Direct updates of engineering projects and coordinate with wheel and brake engineers.
• Support other engineering groups as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes within Wheel and Brake.
