Job summary

Stripe is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Terminal Enterprise Features team to lead merchant-specific features, build shared tooling, and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Go-to-Market, Legal, Design, and Product. You will drive roadmap, technical excellence, and scalable integrations for large enterprise customers.

You will recruit and mentor engineers while deepening your understanding of core APIs to shape card-present payments within a unified commerce platform,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering leadership across mobile, API, and backend teams.
• Experience leading diverse teams to tackle complex problems.
• Strong product mindset with awareness of AI impacts.
• Ability to coordinate across Go-to-Market, Legal, Design and Product teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with company leaders to advance the unified commerce vision, integrating in-person and online payments.
• Set roadmap and priorities for the team and coordinate inter‑team dependencies.
• Support engineering with technical excellence and system stability.
• Develop processes enabling effective collaboration across the company.
• Recruit engineers with the Recruiting team and mentor team members.
• Understand core APIs and influence designs for card-present payments in a unified commerce platform.
• Guide the team to build and scale integrations and abstractions for payments, gift cards, and POS connectors.
• Deliver enterprise features like dynamic currency conversion and in-person refunds.
