Job summary

Stripe, Inc. seeks a seasoned technical leader to head a Commerce Systems team focused on billing platforms, pricing, and monetization.

You will drive self-serve capabilities, ensure accurate billing outcomes, and collaborate with finance, strategy, and product teams to scale the business. You will partner with product, engineering, sales, and back-office teams, shaping strategy across timezones and continents while mentoring engineers and building a high-performing organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 4 years in management.
• Led high-complexity teams of 8+ engineers across multiple projects.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments with rigorous decision making.
• Proven track record recruiting and building high-performing teams.
• Able to operate with autonomy and own initiatives.
• Experience coordinating with geographically distributed teams across time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts.
