Job summary

Stripe is seeking a seasoned technical leader to guide a team within Commerce Systems. You will drive self-serve capabilities of the billing platform, launch pricing and monetization features, and ensure precise billing outcomes across Stripe’s product suite.

You’ll partner with product, engineering, sales, finance, accounting, tax and compliance to align on strategy and outcomes, build a healthy leadership bench, and scale Stripe’s commercial platforms to accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering with at least 4 years in management.
• Led high-complexity teams of 8+ engineers across multiple high-impact areas.
• Experience thriving in cross-functional environments with rigorous thinking.
• Proven ability to recruit, mentor and grow high-performing, diverse teams.
• Autonomy and accountability to own projects and drive initiatives.
• Ability to partner with geographically distributed orgs across time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
