Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to plan and direct the engineering team within the Trim Systems Division.

You will oversee product and process planning, design, and execution while managing budgets and resources. The role requires collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to develop and validate solutions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or related).
• 20+ years in design engineering; 5+ years in managerial/supervisory roles.
• 10+ years of design experience with CVG trim systems offerings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in AIAG and lean manufacturing principles and CI techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of design principles, CAD/CAE, materials, and high-volume production.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision making.
• Effective communication and stakeholder influence at all levels.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for CVG core markets.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor an engineering team to meet objectives.
• Develop product/process strategy roadmaps and manage budgets/resources.
• Lead NPIs and ensure process validation and manufacturing readiness.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance offerings.
• Represent CVG as a solution provider with a proactive attitude.
• Drive quality assurance initiatives and design for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
