Trillium Professional is seeking a Trim Engineering Manager to lead the trim design and processes for a seating business unit. The role requires technical leadership to guide trim engineers and technicians and to resolve customer trim issues through collaboration across teams.

You will drive trim product development, manage design reviews, and ensure DFMEAs and cost objectives align with program targets. A strong background in engineering and supervision within trim development is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering and 8-10 years of trim product development experience.
• 3-5 years in a supervisory position in trim product development.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership, develops the technical skills and knowledge and provides technical direction to the trim engineers and technicians on the team.
• Leads trim product development for a seating business unit and conducts design reviews.
• Reviews DFMEAs and ensures high RPNs are addressed or mitigated.
• Plans and manages trim design budgets and resources to meet program objectives.
• Maintains strong knowledge of trim cover construction and manufacturing feasibility across regions.
