Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience with hardware, device management, or IT infrastructure.
• 2+ years in a people-management or team-lead role.
• Hands-on knowledge of Zebra handheld and vehicle-mounted devices in warehouse/distribution environments.
• Experience with industrial/label printing hardware and print management in high-volume settings.
• Familiarity with conference room AV deployment in a corporate setting.
• Working knowledge of digital certificate management (SHA-2/PKI) for device authentication.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate with engineers and stakeholders.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence to manage work and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills with fleet health, incident, and reliability metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of engineers responsible for supply chain hardware standards, deployment, and support.
• Own the technical roadmap for Zebra handheld and vehicle-mounted computers used in supply chain operations, including hardware refresh cycles, firmware/OS management, and MDM enrollment.
• Set standards and drive lifecycle management for Zebra industrial and label printing hardware, including testing, throughput/durability requirements, procurement input, and break/fix strategy.
• Ensure hardware standards account for warehouse operating conditions (wireless coverage, ruggedization, high-volume scan throughput).
• Oversee hardware for conference room and collaboration systems supporting corporate offices.
• Guide device security and certificate management (SHA-2, PKI, secure enrollment).
• Partner with Supply Chain Operations and Workplace/Facilities teams to align hardware with operational needs.
• Define and track KPIs for fleet health, incident volume, and mean time to repair/resolution.
• Manage vendor relationships with Zebra and other OEM partners for roadmap alignment and certifications.
• Drive planning for Jira/Confluence workstreams and documentation.
