Job summary

Sportradar is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building enterprise-grade, high-uptime sports analytics and broadcast tooling. This role balances people leadership with hands-on technical engagement, shaping architecture, guiding decisions, and maintaining the high standards our enterprise customers rely on.

Qualifications

3+ years of engineering management experience.
Coaching and career development of engineers.
Partnership with Product Managers to manage backlogs in Agile environments.
Ability to conduct performance discussions constructively.

Responsibilities

Lead a software engineering team with regular 1:1s, retros, and performance feedback.
Set goals, document plans, and connect career aspirations to team priorities.
Mentor engineers to grow technically and professionally while fostering collaboration.
Provide hands-on architectural direction and participate in design reviews.
Balance feature development, platform investment, and technical debt while ensuring high uptime and data accuracy.
Collaborate with Product, Design, DevOps, and Architecture to align delivery.
