Job summary

Sportradar, a world‑leading sports technology company, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering high‑uptime analytics and broadcast tooling. You will balance people leadership with hands‑on architecture, guiding decisions and maintaining data accuracy for global enterprise customers.

You will mentor engineers, manage backlogs with Product, and drive best practices in reliability, observability, and secure, scalable software delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in engineering management with direct line management of software engineers.
• Experience partnering with Product Managers to manage backlogs, plan sprints, and deliver commitments in Agile environments.
• Strong focus on software quality, reliability, and scalability for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on architectural direction across team systems and services.
• Lead performance reviews, 1:1s, and career development for engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, DevOps, and Architecture to align goals and ownership.
• Reduce technical debt while delivering features and improvements at pace.
• Drive reliability, observability, and capacity planning for high-uptime systems.
• Lead incident post-mortems and ensure follow-through.
