Job summary

SeatGeek seeks a Director of Engineering for Enterprise Product to guide a mature, high-impact platform serving venues, promoters, and teams worldwide. You will set technical direction, balance client commitments with long-term modernization, and advance the AI-native engineering agenda while collaborating closely with Product, Design, and client teams.

You will lead Engineering Managers and Senior engineers, helping grow leaders, drive architecture decisions, and ensure scalable, reliable

Qualifications

Proven track record leading multiple engineering teams
Strong architectural depth with credibility in high-stakes decisions
Experience contributing technically when leverage is highest, including design and prototyping

Responsibilities

Set technical direction across US Ticketing, working with engineering managers and staff+ engineers on architecture, system ownership, modernization, and platform boundaries
Lead the evolution of a mature, business-critical platform with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and modernization
Pioneering AI-native engineering by evolving how teams design, build, test, operate, and understand software
Partner with Product and Design leadership to shape strategy, not just execute a roadmap
Develop Engineering Managers and senior leaders to create leverage through teams
