Job summary

Sportradar is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team building enterprise-grade analytics and broadcast tooling. You’ll balance people leadership with hands-on technical engagement, shaping architecture and guiding decisions for data-driven systems used by our enterprise customers.

You will mentor engineers, foster a collaborative culture, and partner with Product, Design, DevOps, and Architecture to align delivery with business goals while maintaining high standards of uptime, data

Qualifications

3+ years of engineering management experience with direct reports.
6+ years software engineering with hands-on depth in architecture.
Experience with data-driven, high-uptime production systems.
Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge.
Experience with AWS, CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead a software engineering team with 1:1s, performance feedback and career growth.
Set goals, manage backlogs, and align with product using Agile.
Mentor engineers at all levels and foster collaboration and quality.
Provide hands-on architectural direction across systems.
Drive technical debt reduction and ensure uptime and data accuracy.
Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
Collaborate with Product, Design, DevOps, and Architecture to align initiatives.
Own delivery commitments and forecast accurately.
