Job summary

Radar is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a distributed Platform team responsible for Radar’s infrastructure, developer platform, and data systems. You will drive a roadmap to scale services globally, with a focus on the application layer and automated tooling, while connecting application and infrastructure development.

You’ll mentor engineers across backend, frontend and mobile tech stacks, and work to maintain high availability and reliability for 1B+ API calls daily on 300MM+ devices.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of coding practices and system design.
• Experience at a high growth startup and shipping software at scale.
• Generalist engineer, not tied to any single stack.
• Interest in talking to customers or prospects and making them successful.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and mentor a globally distributed Platform team.
• Lead a team of engineers across backend, frontend and mobile stacks.
• Work on core Radar technology using TS, Rust, Python and Scala.
• Collaborate to build highly available systems with 99.99%+ uptime.
• Enable self-serve infrastructure, observability, and automation.
• Be part of the on-call rotation and drive security practices.
