Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience managing an engineering team.
• 4+ years of experience building highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
• Able to communicate complex tech topics to diverse audiences.
• Familiar with Agile software product delivery and SCRUM.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical expertise within your engineering vertical.
• Build and lead teams delivering software with engineering best practices.
• Clarify technical requirements, negotiate priorities, and manage projects to deadlines.
• Escalate blockers to accelerate delivery progress.
• Collaborate with product and design to create a roadmap for executives.
• Drive execution with clear objectives, data, and KPI transparency.
• Provide updates on KPIs and status to stakeholders.
• Recruit, assess, and onboard diverse engineers.
• Occasional travel to Fanatics offices and events.
