Job summary

Human Interest is seeking an Engineering Manager, CRM Systems to lead our Salesforce team across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, partnering with GTM and CS&O to optimize the customer lifecycle, accelerate revenue growth, and improve operational efficiency.

You will drive AI-enabled improvements, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and guide a balanced build-vs-buy roadmap, reporting to the Vice President of Product & Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering or technical teams in the Salesforce domain.
• Hands-on software engineering background with API integrations, architecture, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Salesforce platform capabilities: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, data modeling and integrations.
• Experience establishing engineering practices for planning, code reviews, deployment, incident response, and operations.
• Experience directing AI coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in a professional setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing Salesforce admins/developers team on the AI-first roadmap.
• Partner with Product to set technical strategy, architecture, and CRM roadmap.
• Deliver reliable, scalable CRM solutions for GTM and CS&O workflows across the customer lifecycle.
• Improve platform, architecture, testing, observability, and CI/CD to speed delivery and reduce errors.
• Define sprint planning, design reviews, release management, on-call rotations, and incident response.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI capabilities to improve productivity and outcomes.
• Make build-versus-buy decisions for Salesforce, vendor-supplied, or custom solutions.
