Jobgether seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a distributed, remote‑first engineering team. You will oversee seven direct reports, drive staffing, development, and retention strategies, and collaborate with HR and senior leadership on workforce planning.

You will balance business priorities with individual growth, guide performance conversations, and help shape a respectful, inclusive engineering culture across client engagements and internal projects.

Competenze

• Seven+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or technical delivery.
• Three+ years in direct engineering management with people decisions.
• Experience staffing engineers across multiple projects or client engagements.
• Experience managing resource allocation, capacity planning, and utilization metrics.
• Experience leading performance reviews and calibration processes.
• Technical knowledge to assess skills, workloads, and staffing risks.
• Ability to develop engineers and support career progression with retention initiatives.

Mansioni

• Directly manage an initial team of seven engineers with regular 1:1s and development plans.
• Lead performance reviews, calibration, and fair assessments within a leveling framework.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and communication of staffing decisions with HR and leadership.
• Balance workload, staffing needs, and employee wellbeing across projects and client engagements.
• Forecast capacity, recruitment needs, and key dependencies; report risks to leadership.
• Establish consistent evaluation, mentorship, and development practices.
• Maintain headcount records and workforce metrics; optimize staffing processes.
