Vanta is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead two squads in delivering on a clear product roadmap for security assessments automation. You will drive accountability, participate in architecture decisions, and partner closely with product and design to align on priorities.

You will mentor engineers, foster growth, and help scale engineering practices across the Trust Center initiatives and related AI-enabled tooling. This role emphasizes execution and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time engineering management experience leading teams of 6–8+ engineers.
• Track record of high-execution teams with disciplined delivery practices.
• Experience managing and upleveling senior ICs.

Responsibilities

• Lead two squads to deliver consistently against a clear product roadmap.
• Set a high-accountability delivery culture with weekly goals, tech spec reviews, and visibility.
• Partner with product and design to shape roadmap priorities and ensure engineering is a strong voice.
• Engage in architecture discussions and guide sound engineering decisions.
• Attract, grow, and retain strong engineers; mentor senior ICs.
• Collaborate across GTM, AI Platform, and other partners to ship for the business.
• Help build scalable engineering processes and culture.
