Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions seeks an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager to lead product development, engineering operations, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting. You will partner with Operations, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver high-quality, innovative products that drive growth.

You will guide R&D teams, manage capital projects, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement while ensuring schedules, budgets, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in product design or manufacturing engineering.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong background in manufacturing environments and hands-on product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design, development, testing, and launch activities for new and existing products.
• Direct engineering and R&D teams to achieve project objectives, quality standards, and business goals.
• Oversee product design reviews, engineering documentation, CAD standards, and design guidelines.
• Drive product innovation while improving manufacturability, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with Operations to optimize manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and support successful product launches.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions related to product quality, manufacturing issues, and customer concerns.
• Manage capital projects from concept through implementation, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support supplier development, technical problem-solving, and customer-facing engineering activities.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
