Job summary

Harbinger is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Platform team (Frontend, Backend, DevOps) in Garden Grove, CA. You will drive critical initiatives such as the Fleet dashboard, payment integration, and vehicle configuration tools, bridging firmware and software engineering for scalable products.

You will mentor teams, own architecture decisions, and ensure end-to-end delivery with a culture of technical excellence. Automotive experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Domain agility: automotive experience not required, cross-domain transfer of expertise encouraged.
• Deep technical expertise with architectural understanding and hands-on React/GoLang.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and end-to-end delivery.
• Experience with telemetry, real-time data visualization, and geospatial dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Platform team across Frontend, Backend, and DevOps.
• Oversee web and app products including Fleet dashboard, OTA/release platform, vehicle config tools, and Harbinger app.
• Set architecture, tech strategy, and hiring roadmap for the platform team.
• Build complex visual dashboards and guide architectural decisions for scalability.
