Harbinger Motors in Garden Grove, CA, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead our Platform team (Frontend, Backend, DevOps) and bridge firmware and software efforts. You will oversee critical initiatives like the Fleet dashboard, payment integration systems, and vehicle configuration tools, guiding architecture and delivery with cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience not required; transferable cross-domain skills valued.
• Hands-on experience in building scalable frontend/backend systems.
• Experience with telemetry and geospatial dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Platform team across Frontend, Backend, and DevOps.
• Manage high-impact web and app products, including Fleet management dashboard SaaS, OTA and release management platform, vehicle configuration management, Harbinger phone app.
• Lead on architecture, technology, and hiring roadmap for the platform team.
• Build complex visual dashboards
• Provide guidance and mentorship on architectural and technical decision making, in setting up the products for scalability and alignment with the product roadmap.
• Foster a collaborative team culture focused on end-to-end delivery and technical excellence.
• Manage internal technical teams and external design teams towards delivery targets.
