Job summary

Harbinger, an American EV company, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Platform team (Frontend, Backend, and DevOps) in Garden Grove, CA. You will drive initiatives such as the Fleet dashboard, payment integration, and vehicle configuration tools, bridging firmware and software engineering.

You will mentor engineers, own architecture decisions, and drive end-to-end delivery with a focus on scalability and a strong product roadmap. Automotive experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on React and/or GoLang with strong architectural skills.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and end-to-end delivery.
• Experience with telemetry, real-time data visualization, and geospatial dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Platform team across Frontend, Backend, and DevOps.
• Manage Fleet dashboard SaaS, OTA/release platform, vehicle configuration tools.
• Set architecture, technology strategy, and hiring roadmap for the platform.
• Build complex visual dashboards.
• Mentor on architectural decisions to ensure scalable product delivery.
