Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead delivery across the Site Reliability Engineering tooling team.

You will translate product requirements into actionable EPICs and technical stories while coordinating with engineers, product managers, QA, and UX to ensure timely delivery. You will plan sprints, define timelines, track velocity, and manage dependencies, balancing resources to meet milestones.

Qualifications

8+ years in software development roles.
5+ years of Node.js and Python experience.
At least 3 years of leadership experience.
Strong Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management.
Expertise in breaking down complex product requirements into EPICs, Stories, and Tasks.
Solid experience with backend technologies; frontend experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own delivery within the Site Reliability Engineering tooling team; translate requirements into EPICs and technical stories.
Plan and organize sprints with defined goals, timelines, milestones, and task dependencies.
Track team velocity and coordinate dependencies to prevent bottlenecks.
Contribute to projects through design patterns and code reviews to maintain quality.
Ensure monitoring and observability for owned services and publish post-deployment metrics.
