Job summary

Truemed is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Merchants & Integrations team. You will stay close to the code and data model, guiding technical decisions while representing engineering on customer and sales calls.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep payments or ecommerce integration expertise, and the ability to drive reliable, compliant integrations across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, Product, and other Engineering teams to differentiate

Qualifications

• Led software engineering teams or directed technical work.
• Strong experience with payments or ecommerce integrations.
• Deep understanding of backend systems, APIs, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Merchants & Integrations engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and career development.
• Own the integration surface including merchant-facing APIs, payment app, and platform integrations.
• Stay technical and review design/architecture decisions while guiding the team on hard problems.
• Be customer-facing on sales and integration calls and translate merchant needs into feasible engineering work.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Engineering to ensure fast, compliant integration experiences.
• Raise the bar on delivery, improving planning, shipping, and support to achieve rapid live deployments.
